About This Guide

Who publishes zrhairport.ch, how pages are built and checked, and the rule we hold ourselves to: every page that offers a transfer also explains the public alternative.

zrhairport.ch exists because the information you need at Zurich Airport is scattered across a dozen operators, and almost none of it is written from the traveller’s point of view.

What this guide is

An independent guide to Zurich Airport (ZRH · LSZH): every transfer option, every dock, every car park, every lounge — compared, with the trade-offs stated. Not a booking funnel dressed up as advice, and not a copy of the airport’s own website.

We are published by Swiss Limousine Service, a Swiss chauffeur company. That is stated on every page where a transfer is offered, and it is the reason we hold ourselves to a rule that would otherwise be optional: every page that recommends a private transfer also explains the public alternative, with the case in which the public option is the better one. A guide that never says “take the train” is an advertisement.

How pages are built

01 · Sources

Official first

Flughafen Zürich AG, SBB, ZVV, the operators themselves. Where an operator publishes a figure, that figure is what we use.

02 · Prices

Measured, not estimated

Transfer prices come from the booking system’s own calculation — the same distance source, the same formula. We do not round them into something friendlier.

03 · Gaps

Silence over invention

When a number cannot be verified, we say where to find it rather than guess. An invented price is worse than no price.

04 · Review

Before each season

Winter changes the ski pages, summer changes the queues. Pages are re-checked before the season they describe.

What we will not do

We do not invent numbers. No estimated journey time presented as measured, no “from CHF X” that no one actually charges.

We do not hide the commercial relationship. Our transfer booking partner belongs to the same group. It says so here, in the imprint, and next to the offer.

We do not pretend to be the airport. The domain uses the IATA code descriptively. For anything operational — a live gate, lost property, an emergency — the official channel is the right one, and we link to it rather than paraphrase it.

Corrections

If you find something wrong on this site, tell us: [email protected]. A correction with a source gets fixed the same week. This is a guide maintained by people, not a scraped database, and that cuts both ways — it means errors are possible and it means a message reaches someone who can fix them.

About this guide — FAQ

Is zrhairport.ch the official Zurich Airport website?

No. This is an independent guide with no affiliation to Flughafen Zürich AG. The official website is flughafen-zuerich.ch, and it is the right source for live gate information, lost property and anything operational.

Who writes this site?

An editorial team working for Swiss Limousine Service, a Swiss chauffeur company based in Geneva. Editorial responsibility and full contact details are in the imprint.

Do you earn money from the recommendations?

Yes, on some of them. Certain links to parking, hotels and car rental are commercial, and the private transfer offered here is operated by the same group that publishes the guide. None of it changes the price you pay, and every page that offers a transfer also explains the public alternative.

How current is the information?

Pages are checked against official sources and re-verified before each season. Airport operations still change without notice, so anything time-critical should be confirmed with the operator concerned.

Can I reuse content from this site?

Quote a short extract with a visible link to the source page, freely. Republishing substantial parts requires written permission — the details are in the terms of use.
